Abstract

In this work it affirms that one of the most significant aspects of the Treaty of Lisbon is the attribution of juridical value to the Fundamental Rights Charter (1). In this respect it is analyzed the function that the fundamental rights fulfill from the point of view of the political (2) and juridical (3) integration of Europe. With these premises it is realized a critical valuation of the meaning and scope of the surprising system of differentiated integration established in this matter (4).
