Abstract
En su nueva monografía, la Profesora Roca Fernández, catedrática de Derecho Constitucional de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, ha ofrecido al lector especializado un estudio sistemático sobre las implicaciones jurídicas de la apostasía de una manera sumamente inteligente por su planteamiento, por su metodología y por su oportunidad. Por su planteamiento porque la obra aborda la apostasía no desde la clásica visión confesional –sin duda interesante en la perspectiva de las confesiones religiosas– sino desde el ángulo más amplio de la libertad religiosa como libertad fundamental en sus dimensiones positiva y negativa, consiguiendo integrar la cuestión de las declaraciones de apostasía en el debate sobre los derechos fundamentales y extendiendo el estudio de este fenómeno a las confesiones minoritarias en Europa. La autora ha logrado con ello que su obra resulte de interés no solo en una perspectiva eclesiástica sino también desde la óptica del estudio de los derechos y libertades públicas fundamentales.Published online: 27 December 2018
