Abstract

The main goal of this work is the study, in the European Union, of the Jurisdiction rules that are linked to the concepts of intellectual property and Copyright, specifically from the point of view of the European Union Regulation 44/2001. Departing from the rules 2, 5 and 22 of that Regulation, this work faces with the different possibilities of application of these rules, in situations that come from the establishment of the copyright, to arrive to the exploitation or development of that right, with some proposals of change. Finally, the work faces with some questions of Copyright law (applicable law) and International Conventions.
