Abstract

The controversy about the legal nature, characteristics and competences of the Territorios Históricos of the Basque Country has moved from the pure doctrinal debate towards the Courts arena. This study will deal with the complex division of competences inside the Basque Country government framework and the legal nature of the law enacted by the Juntas Generales. Finally, it will focus on the mandatory jurisdiction of the administrative courts to solve the disputes dealing with the legal acts of the Territorios Históricos.
