Online First

The Online First section of Estudios de Deusto. Revista de Derecho Público contains articles that have fully completed the journal’s editorial process, including peer review, final acceptance, copy-editing and proof correction, and are published before being assigned to a specific issue.

Articles included in this section are final published Versions of Record. They are not provisional versions, accepted manuscripts or proofs. From the date of Online First publication, each article has a permanent DOI and a first online publication date and may therefore be accessed, cited and referenced as a fully published article.

Online First publication is intended to make research findings available as soon as the editorial process has been completed, without requiring authors and readers to wait until the corresponding issue is closed. Each article also provides information on the dates of submission, acceptance and Online First publication as part of the journal’s commitment to editorial transparency.

Once an article is assigned to the relevant volume and issue, it will no longer appear in the Online First section and will be incorporated into the final issue. The article will retain the same DOI and the record of its first online publication date. Only the bibliographic metadata required for its definitive issue assignment, such as volume, issue and, where applicable, pagination, will be added or updated. The content of the article will remain unchanged, except for any corrections that may exceptionally be made in accordance with the journal’s editorial policy.

Online First publication does not alter the semiannual publication schedule of Estudios de Deusto. Revista de Derecho Público or its standard peer-review, editorial and publication procedures.
