Abstract

The interest in the analysis of the US judicial system is found in the fact that each of the fifty States of the Union has its own particular model of justice, different from the federal one. This makes it very peculiar and attractive to the law scholars. This essay deals with the study of the dual judicial federalism that this country presents and which manifests itself in many aspects: the creation, organization and governance of the courts, the selection of judges and the requirement of their responsibility, or the distribution of competences and articulation among the different Courts.
