Abstract

The demands of society on public administration go through deepening the behavior and professional dedication, above all, of public administrators and managers. All this is nothing more than a transcript of the principle of good administration which, as I have already highlighted, is today a right of citizens, which demands greater objectivity in decision-making, greater intensity in the defense of citizens’ rights, more transparency, more control and, above all, more proactive accountability. Ultimately, it is a matter of imbuing public managers and the citizens who are most frequently and closely related to them with feelings of ethics, rectitude and honesty capable of preventing corrupt practices.
