European Union: To a really common Foreign and Security Policy

Abstract

The principal motor of the european project has been the political integration as a way to keep und improve the european countries position and its projection in the international scene and to make possible political, economic and strategic objectives in short, medium und longterm. The path offered by the global policy in the present situation, at bottom, shows that the strengthening in the ideal of a political union is the only way so that Europe in the future can carry on keeping a good rol in the international scene. This article analyses this question and also in which degree and form the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy are necessary instruments in this sense.
