Representation Crisis, Economic Crisis and Alternative Ideology: the Concepts of Static and Dynamic Breaking

Abstract

The crisis of the representation that the western democracies are suffering and that contributes to disconnect progressively the rulers and representatives from the citizens, it has worsened in the last years, among other factors, because of the world economic crisis that is specially affecting several EU´s member states, including Spain. If that representation crisis will get worse or better and, if it would get worse, what consequences this would have is one of the main legal-politic issues of the present. It is the wish of these lines to analyze the different elements that can lead to the social breakdown, to introduce two possible breakdown models and to value which circumstances can contribute to the change of political model of one society.
