Abstract

With the emergence of various episodes of corruption that have hit the public and aggravated discredit the political system to citizens, the Council of Ministers approved the September 20, 2013 Democratic Regeneration Plan based on two pillars: control of economic and financial activity of political parties and regulate the exercise of the high office of the General State Administration. Both issues have merited two separate bills that collect a wide range of measures to combat corruption and improve the detection and response mechanisms available to the legal system. In this same period, the Parliament adopted the Law 19/2013 of 9 December, transparency, public access to information and good governance.
