Abstract
El estudio de las libertades públicas en el marco constitucional español ha sido abordado desde diversas perspectivas doctrinales a lo largo de los años, pero pocas obras han conseguido una sistematización tan rigurosa, matizada y profundamente analítica como la que ofrece Remedio Sánchez Ferriz en Estudios sobre las libertades públicas en el ordenamiento constitucional español (La voz de la sociedad civil). Esta obra no solo se establece como una continuación de sus estudios previos sobre la materia, que son muchos y abarcan una dilatada y fructífera trayectoria académica, sino que representa una reelaboración crítica y meticulosa de los fundamentos de la teoría de las libertades públicas, confrontándolos con los cambios legislativos, jurisprudenciales y políticos de las últimas décadas. Lejos de ser un simple compendio normativo, el trabajo de Sánchez Ferriz plantea una auténtica reflexión jurídica sobre el papel de las libertades públicas en la configuración del Estado Constitucional contemporáneo, subrayando su relevancia como mecanismos de participación ciudadana y garantes del equilibrio entre poder y sociedad civil.
