Abstract
La presente obra representa un completo y sobresaliente estudio sobre un tema de compleja relevancia y máxima actualidad, como es la necesaria incorporación de la perspectiva de género en el camino hacia la construcción de la igualdad efectiva de mujeres y hombres, en particular, desde la producción normativa y jurisprudencial de los Sistemas Internacionales de Derechos Humanos. Desde el Prólogo del Profesor Dr. D. Pablo Santolaya Machetti, se advierte que esta obra supone un importante e imprescindible complemento a la trayectoria investigadora realizada por las autoras en sucesivos proyectos de investigación en torno al diálogo e interactuación entre el Sistema Internacional Europeo y Americano sobre protección de Derechos Humanos.
