The new statute of the government in the Moroccan Constitution of 2011

Abstract

One of the innovations most distinguished from the new political- constitutional architecture in Morocco in accordance with the constitution 2011, is the new statute of the government. In the present article it is analyzed the new regulation of the governmental institution in the Constitution of 2011, regulation that takes the constitutionalization of parliamentary rules, so much in what the formation of the government concerns as regarding its competitions and attributions.

The aim would be, first, to evaluate the scope of the political-constitutional autonomy of this new model of the government and to show then, through the comparison with the previous constitutional texts, its impact on the democratization of the political Moroccan regime.
